At THE 25, we use Asclepion Laser Technologies’ modern MeDioStar laser systems that are specially designed for epilation. It allows for a particularly quick and painless treatment, regardless of skin type, and offers convincing, long-lasting results.
HOW IT WORKS
It requires only one short and virtually painless treatment session. For a full body it takes less than one hour. It is important to shave the targeted area beforehand. In order to achieve permanent hair reduction it is recommended to repeat treatments of the same area. The amount of treatment sessions required for complete permanent epilation depends on the area to be epilated and the individual skin type. But the effort pays off: numerous clinical studies prove that once successfully removed, laser epilated hair will re-grow only very slowly and will be very thin. In order to remove this re-growth successfully, it is generally sufficient to repeat a single session once a year.

WHAT IT DOES
Light penetrates the skin, is absorbed by melanin and converted into heat. This heat destroys hair roots as well as the so-called torus. The surrounding skin remains unaffected. Laser epilation is only effective when hair is in its growth phase. Unfortunately, not all hair grows at the same time. In order to remove hair permanently and across larger areas, treatment has to be repeated. Hair reacts differently to light: People with dark hair – and a lot of melanin – experience best results. The removal of very fair hair requires individual assessment of the potential success of laser treatment.
